Quartet : Ron Rault, Crawdad Cantera, Gord Matthews and Thom Moon perform songs from Front Porch album, traditional blues songs, and a few tunes from Up On Cripple Creek. Show can be tailored for folk clubs, blues rooms, and festivals.
Acoustic Trio : Ron Rault, Crawdad Cantera and Gord Matthews digging into folk and roots repertoire that runs the gamut from Crawdad pulling out all the stops on Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee material, Gord mixing in originals from his solo disc and Ron putting his spin on gospel blues and Leadbelly classics. Perfect for house concerts and folk clubs.
Tailor Made Variety Shows : Front Porch quartet with guests. Organizations and venues that want to satisfy a crowd that wants something specific or an audience that wants a taste of it all. John Rutherford formerly of No Guff and the High Water Jug Band, popular country singer or acclaimed Winnipeg blues guitarist Brent Parkin are just a few of the artists who are part of the extended Front Porch family.
The Blues of The Band”: A quintet with Ron Casat from Up On Cripple Creek put another spin on the musical influences of The Band. A few of the bluesier numbers found in the Up On Cripple Creek show are stirred into sets with blues gems Levon Helm performed with Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield and the RCO All-Stars, along with songs from legends like Sonny Boy Williamson and Ronnie Hawkins. This show is built to rock the house.
Front Porch Songwriters : In the round show: Gord Matthews, Doug Andrew, Tracy Millar, Ron Casat, J.R. Shore and Ron Rault in various configurations can come together for an evening showcasing original material that is top drawer and found on these artists solo recordings.
